Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Managers to oversee our culinary operations. We are located inside YG famers market operating several concepts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the FOH & BOH team members, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee operational activities, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning.

  2. Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.

  3. Train and supervise FOH & BOH team members on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures as well as training FOH staff on company expectations and hospitality standards.

  4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

  5. Develop and maintain standard recipes to ensure consistency in food quality.

  6. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to create menus and specials.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a full service restaurant Manager or similar role.

  • Strong background in culinary arts, including cooking and food preparation.

  • Knowledge of inventory management and control practices.

  • Experience in supervising kitchen staff and server team.

  • Understanding of food safety standards and procedures.

  • Bartending experience is a plus.

  • Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality industry

  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to food quality.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Food handler's management certification (required).

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Availability:

  • 30 hours a week

  • Shifts between 8am- 7:30pm

  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Hourly Rate:

  • $24 - $27 an hour

  • Based on previous work experience and a culinary assessment of food safety and knife skills.
