Position Details:

As a server at DUB$ Brunch Bar, you are the standard setter for our customers. Servers are committed to elevating the dining experience through unparalleled customer service. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, taking orders accurately, delivering food promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet guests warmly, provide attentive and personalized service, anticipating and fulfilling guest needs.

  2. Efficiently take orders, ensuring accuracy in recording guest preferences. Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff.

  3. Possess a comprehensive understanding of the menu, including specials and beverage options.

  4. Deliver orders promptly, coordinating with the kitchen for optimal timing.

  5. Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns with a proactive and positive approach.

  6. Keep tables clean and presentable throughout the dining experience.

  7. Reset tables efficiently for the next guests, ensuring a smooth transition between parties.

  8. Process payments accurately, handle cash transactions, providing correct change and maintaining financial integrity.

  9. Follow hygiene and safety protocols to maintain a clean and sanitary dining environment and work station.

  10. Teamwork: Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and servers to ensure the seamless operation of the restaurant. Assist colleagues as needed.

  11. Demonstrate a positive and friendly demeanor, even during busy periods.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred.

  • Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions.

  • Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing.

  • Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest relations and guest services.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail for order accuracy and food preparation.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays if necessary.

Availability:

  • Part time

  • Shifts between 10am- 7:00pm

  • Saturday & Sunday

Hourly Rate:

  • Pay is $9 an hour plus tips. Average is about $18-$21 an hour. Weekly pay
